Common Questions

Before you reach out.

Quick answers to the questions we hear most. If yours is not here, ask away in the form.

  • Do you only work with large companies?

No. Our core benefits consulting work centers on employers of roughly 50 to 2,500 employees — with a deep bench for family-owned and multi-site businesses. We also serve smaller groups and individuals through our small-group and Medicare practice. If we're not the right fit, we'll tell you and point you somewhere good.

  • How does your fee structure work?

We work on a flat fee — almost always. The fee is on the front of every conversation, every proposal, and every renewal. No hidden carrier overrides, no production bonuses tied to placement, no kickbacks. Transparency is the point.

  • What does the first conversation look like?

Thirty minutes on the phone or a video call with Brian. We will ask about your business, your current program, and the things that frustrate you. No slide deck. No follow-up flood. If we can help, we will tell you how. If we can't, we will tell you that too.

  • Do I have to be local to one of your offices?

Not at all. We are licensed across most of the country and our team is fully remote. Our offices are convenient touchpoints, not the limit of where we work.
